Inception gallery exhibited Ahmed Mater‘s work in October 2011. The work is influenced by Mater’s studies and life as a doctor, but also by traditional education and Saudi Arabian culture. The art creates a universal visual which borders on faith, culture and its scientific studies.

The exhibition entitled ‘Dr’ presented a selection of recent works in the series ‘Evolution of Man’. This series looks at the policy of the petro dollar and its consequences on the environment, the benefit of financial greed that emanates from the oil business and trade, which it derives from.

The ‘Illumination’ was dyptique displayed. For this exhibition, Ahmed Mater produced new works, including an antenna in neon, and a collage done with firecrackers of pistols in toy.
